ADSL Trainer (SMT-411)
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) is a high-speed data transmission technology that operates over copper telephone lines. It provides faster download speeds than upload speeds, making it ideal for web browsing, streaming, and online gaming. ADSL allows simultaneous voice and data transmission without interference. A specialized bench-top apparatus is used to study ADSL signals, featuring modem emulation, ISP login simulation, and multi-protocol support. It includes a digital multimeter for line testing, an LCD display, alarm indicators, and data memory functions. The device connects via RJ11 or alligator clips and is compatible with all known DSLAMs.
