The Buchholz Relay Trainer (SMT-BZH-120) is designed to demonstrate the working principles of a Buchholz relay in transformer protection systems. It features a transparent acrylic transformer and conservator tank, allowing easy observation of oil movement and gas formation. An air pump simulates gas faults, while an oil lamp indicates relay trip conditions. The unit is mounted on a sturdy aluminium profile panel with high-voltage components housed in plastic enclosures for safety.
