The SMT-LA-12 Laboratory Blower (Mini & Maxi) is a precision testing machine designed for aerodynamic particle classification in laboratory environments, used to separate particles based on their floating speed in an upward air stream. A sample placed on a mesh-bottom tray is exposed to controlled air pressure through a vertical transparent separation pipe, causing lighter fractions to rise into a settling chamber while heavier particles remain in the tray. This dual-fraction separation provides high-accuracy seed purity testing and aerodynamic classification for grains or similar particles. The blower is available in Mini and Maxi versions, with the Mini having a 50 mm separation pipe and the Maxi a 100 mm pipe. It features a fine mesh tray for even airflow distribution, an infinitely variable air regulation system via a built-in fan controller, and a complete drive system with a variable speed motor. With a transparent separation pipe, pressure chamber, and stable base, this compact lab-scale device is ideal for seed purity testing, grain research, and aerodynamic studies.
