This unit contains different measuring instruments to determine the flow rate. These instruments are designed with PMMA and are Venturi meter, an orifice plate meter and a rotameter. Eight tube manometers are used in order to determine the pressure distribution in the Venturi nozzle and in the orifice plate flow meter. The experimental unit can be operated independently without the use of hydraulic bench. A stainless-steel reservoir tank is installed on the unit which supplies water via a centrifugal pump.
