Water-Water Turbulent Flow Heat Transfer Unit (SMT-HT-20)

The Water-to-Water Turbulent Flow Heat Transfer Unit is an advanced concentric tube heat exchanger designed for detailed heat transfer studies. Hot water flows through the inner tube while cooling water passes through the annular space. The exchanger is divided into three sections to observe intermediate temperature distribution. Multiple thermocouples measure hot, cold, and tube wall temperatures at key locations. This enables precise evaluation of internal and external surface heat transfer coefficients. The unit supports both co-current and counter-current flow investigations. An extended-range flow meter allows analysis over a wide range of Reynolds numbers. Digital PID temperature control facilitates experimental validation of turbulent heat transfer correlations.
