Fluidized Bed Reactor (SMT-CP-106)

The ESOLS Fluidized Bed Reactor (FBR) is a compact and efficient system designed for studying gas–solid reactions under controlled flow, pressure, and temperature. Reactant gases are precisely blended and introduced from the bottom, fluidizing solid particles via a porous diffusion plate for enhanced heat and mass transfer. The one-meter-long reactor, with a 25 mm internal diameter, features separate heaters for the reactor column and disengaging zone to maintain precise thermal conditions. A multipoint thermocouple monitors temperature distribution continuously. Downstream, a cyclone separator or heated filter captures fine particles. Gas feed is regulated manually with flowmeter valves, and pressure is monitored via gauges or digital displays. Reaction products are cooled in a condenser and collected safely in a product receiver. The system ensures reliable, controlled, and efficient operation for experimental and research applications.
