Continuous Stirred Tanks in Series (SMT-CP-107)

The ESOLS Continuous Stirred Tanks in Series (CSTRs) system is a versatile laboratory setup for studying reaction kinetics, residence-time distribution, and multi-stage processes. It features three identical glass stirred tank reactors connected in series, each with a stainless-steel chambered bottom for efficient heat exchange. Small reactor volumes minimize chemical usage, making it ideal for research and academic experiments. Reactant flow between reactors is precisely controlled via peristaltic pumps. Each reactor includes conductivity and temperature sensors with digital displays for real-time monitoring. The system is supported by a robust Service Unit with reagent tanks, feeding pumps, hot-water circulation, and electronic temperature control. A digital switchboard and conductivity meter ensure safe and accurate operation. Integrated software on a Core i5 PC allows data logging, visualization, and experiment management for efficient and user-friendly operation.
